  • We collect the information needed to run your account, purchases, study tools, progress history and support requests.
  • Payment card details are handled by payment providers such as Stripe. We do not intentionally store full card numbers.
  • Study performance data is used to show reports, readiness signals, recommendations and account history.
  • We do not sell your personal information.
  • You can contact us to request access, correction or deletion of personal information, subject to legal and operational limits.

1. About This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Australian Pharmacist Study Marketplace collects, uses, stores and shares personal information when you visit the website, create an account, purchase products, use study tools or contact us.

Australian Pharmacist Study Marketplace is part of Be An Australian Pharmacist. The marketplace provides self-study resources for OPRA and planned Australian pharmacist exam preparation tools.

By using the marketplace, you acknowledge that we will handle personal information as described in this Privacy Policy.

2. Information You Provide

When you create an account or update your profile, we may collect details such as your name, email address, country, study intention, exam type, exam date, goals and account preferences.

When you purchase a product, we may collect order information such as product selected, price, currency, purchase date, access period, receipt email and payment status. Payment providers may collect billing and payment details directly from you.

When you contact us, report an issue, request support or submit feedback, we may collect the information you choose to send, including your contact details and the content of your message.

3. Study And Platform Data

When you use study tools, we collect platform activity such as mock paper attempts, demo attempts, selected answers, scores, timing, module practice history, calculation practice results, adaptive practice sessions, readiness signals and dashboard activity.

We use this data to show your reports, track access, rebuild generated practice sessions, suggest what to practise next, calculate readiness signals and improve the learning experience.

Readiness signals and recommendations are study aids only. They are not official exam results, clinical advice or a prediction that you will pass an exam.

4. Device, Log And Usage Information

When you visit or use the marketplace, we may collect technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, referral source, approximate location, date and time stamps, session information and interactions with the platform.

We use this information to keep the site secure, prevent fraud and misuse, diagnose technical problems, understand product usage and improve the marketplace.

5. Cookies And Similar Technologies

We may use cookies, local storage and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember settings, operate secure checkout, measure site usage and improve performance.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Some features may not work properly if cookies or local storage are disabled.

6. How We Use Personal Information

We use personal information to create and manage accounts, provide purchased and free content, process payments, show study history, generate reports, personalise study recommendations and respond to support requests.

We also use information to protect the platform, enforce access rules, detect account sharing or misuse, improve content quality, analyse usage trends, maintain records and comply with legal obligations.

If we send product updates, study reminders or marketing messages, you may opt out where required or available. Transactional and account-related messages may still be sent when necessary.

7. AI-Assisted Content And Quality Workflows

Some marketplace content may be created, checked, transformed or improved using artificial intelligence tools and human review. This Privacy Policy relates to personal information, not the accuracy of educational content, which is covered in our Terms and Conditions.

We do not intentionally provide payment card details to AI tools. If study feedback or support requests are reviewed using AI-assisted workflows, we aim to use only the information reasonably needed for that purpose.

You should avoid sending unnecessary sensitive personal, health, registration or immigration information in free-text support messages unless it is required for your request.

8. How We Share Information

We may share personal information with service providers who help us operate the marketplace, including hosting, authentication, database, storage, analytics, payment processing, email, support, security and content delivery providers.

These providers may process information only as needed to provide services to us, protect the platform, comply with law or perform their own legal obligations.

We may also disclose information if required by law, regulation, subpoena, court order, government request, fraud prevention, payment dispute, safety concern or to protect our rights, users and services.

We do not sell your personal information.

9. Payment Information

Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers such as Stripe. Those providers collect and process payment details under their own terms and privacy policies.

We receive payment and order records needed to confirm purchases, grant access, issue receipts, handle refunds or disputes and maintain business records.

We do not intentionally store full credit card numbers on the marketplace.

10. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal information from unauthorised access, misuse, loss or disclosure.

No online service can guarantee complete security. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for telling us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

11. Data Retention

We keep personal information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the marketplace, maintain account and purchase records, support result history, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, comply with law and improve the service.

Study attempts and generated session references may be retained so you can review results and maintain a useful learning history. We may delete or anonymise information when it is no longer reasonably needed.

12. International Storage And Transfers

Our service providers may store or process information in Australia or other countries. Privacy laws in those countries may differ from those in your location.

Where we use overseas providers, we take reasonable steps to work with reputable services and protect information in line with this Privacy Policy.

13. Your Choices And Rights

You may contact us to request access to personal information we hold about you, correction of inaccurate information, deletion of information or help with account privacy concerns.

Some requests may be limited by identity verification, technical constraints, legal obligations, payment records, fraud prevention, backup retention or our need to maintain legitimate business records.

You can also manage some account information directly in the marketplace account area.

14. Children

The marketplace is intended for adults preparing for pharmacist registration-related examinations. It is not directed to children.

If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.

15. Third-Party Links

The marketplace may link to third-party websites, payment pages, videos, references or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of third-party websites.

You should review the privacy policies of any third-party services you choose to use.

16. Changes To This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the marketplace, legal requirements, providers or privacy practices.

The effective date on this page indicates the latest version. Your continued use of the marketplace after changes are published means you acknowledge the updated policy.

17. Contact

For privacy questions, access or correction requests, complaints or account concerns, contact us through the Be An Australian Pharmacist contact page.

Please include enough information for us to understand and verify your request, but avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information.
